The Freedom From Religion Foundation gets into the news when they are taking file, win and lose lawsuits, but there are smaller victories that they can be credited with that many people probably don’t even notice. Those victories occurs when the FFRF doesn’t have to file a lawsuit.
The FFRF caught wind of a teacher proselytizing in class in a public school and sent the district a letter. The district promptly took action and (hopefully) the teacher will stop.
These little victories are just as important as the big lawsuits because it keeps school districts and governments accountable by educating them. This is a win-win for all involved.
